I developed this course when I saw so many Christian Moms like me struggling with balancing being a full-time Mom and yearning for a profitable professional outlet that they loved. With so many options of what to do and where to start, it’s confusing and feels impossible to get entrepreneurship right, especially when you have a family to raise!
Fear not, the Lord loves families and what you do is a very special vocation of discipling His children. Growing a business, in my experience, has allowed me to share my passions with even my littlest kids. I’m doing this FOR them, not in spite of them, and you can too!
I personally had left a 10-year corporate leadership career to be home and I knew I wanted to contribute financially and use my experience to help others in my areas of passion. I started a holistic health blog and business with no plan, and no focus on who I wanted to serve. I wasted time and money (but I had a good looking website!).
I then started a network marketing business and climbed to the top 3% of my company with a large and incredible team. But soon I was ready to take my business online and I could find very little on developing a comprehensive personal brand that would last me through life’s chapters.
It was even harder to find something that kept God in the center of business efforts. I also knew as a homeschooling Mom of 3 little kids, there was no way I could build a business in the hours that others were teaching. And so, the Lord inspired this course to be created. First, the steps included in the course served as my own revelation of how I personally needed to change and grow. Then, it became a tool to help aspiring and current Mompreneurs to do the same.
Oh how I wish I would have had this course when I started my first business! I was constantly having to switch gears with each new idea or offer. I wasn’t sure who I was serving or what she needed and I failed to build an intentional personal brand for her to connect with. How relieving it is to now have a business and personal brand that embraces who God made me to be, and allows me to be sensitive and responsive to the needs of the buyer I adore. What kind of biblical information is shared?
I am not qualified in any form to preach so don’t expect that! I share pertinent Bible verses and I often share what I do in regards to asking the Lord to guide and bless my efforts. It’s imperative that we follow His plan over our own, and it’s always more fruitful for this life and for eternity. I’m a lifelong Christian but my walk with Christ really engaged over the last few years while being able to stay home with my children and devote time in the Word and prayer. If you are a believer who doesn’t go to church, I welcome you. If you are the quintessential good Christian gal, I welcome you. If you are not a Christian but are fine with seeing bible verses and prayer suggestions, I welcome you. If you expect me to be perfect, I welcome you but I’m not your person!
